In order to help scheduling the teleconferences and making the most use of our time the Grants Review Committee respectfully submits the following list of recommendations when going through the review process.

How to submit a grant to the Grants Review Committee:

  1. Please get your grant into Tracy by the grants committee deadline. The grant should be as final as it would be if you were submitting it for the meeting.

  2. You will get notes from the committee about your grant via email from Tracy. Review these notes and get answers to the questions by going back to your non-profit. Revise your grant as much as possible before the call.

  3. Answer the Doodle.com or other email from the, chair to submit the dates and times you can do a conference call; this will. greatly help with scheduling a time. You don't have to do a call but it is highly recommended. Let the Chair and Tracy know if you are choosing not to do the call.

  4. You will have 15-20 minutes to discuss your grant. You have a choice in how you use your time on the call. You can either do a mock presentation for ten minutes with questions after, or you could focus on the problems raised by the grant committee questions. If it is your first grant Presentation we encourage doing the mock presentation. Please state which approach you are taking for your call when you start. We will focus on one grant at a time. When your grant is through, you may hang up.

  5. Your grant, with any revisions, is then to be handed to Tracy by the due date.
