Boulder Ballet Wellness Week 2025

Grant from: Emily Tucker Bernstein
Amount granted: $20k
Grant approved: 2024

Boulder Ballet nurtures holistic wellness through dance, fostering both personal health and a thriving community. This core value guides their wellness initiatives and is integral to their daily practices as an arts organization.

MBTF was able to sponsor Boulder Ballet’s 2025 Wellness Week, as part of the grant from Emily Tucker Bernstein, which ran from February 10–14.

Boulder Ballet’s annual Wellness Week provided the community with a diverse lineup of free classes aimed at promoting movement, mindfulness, and overall well-being.

The week began with a “sold-out” Pilates Reformer class at Care·To Pilates, introducing participants to the fundamentals of Pilates in a dynamic and supportive environment.

On Tuesday, a morning meditation session at The Dairy ARTS Center offered a moment of stillness and connection.

Midweek, Ana Claire, former Artistic Director and School Director for Boulder Ballet, guided attendees through Strength and Alignment Tools, focusing on mobility and balance for everyday life.

Thursday’s Nervous System Informed Mobility Class, incorporated principles from Functional Range Conditioning and Gyrotonics to support joint health and fluid movement.

The week concluded with another “sold-out” Pilates Reformer session, reinforcing strength and alignment.

Wellness Week continues to be a valuable opportunity for individuals of all levels to explore movement, build community, and prioritize well-being.
